Metal buildings are frame or frameless quick-mounting (or pre-engineered) buildings designed in a way that allows to conduct building and construction work in short time periods regardless the climatic conditions. Spheres of use of such buildings are different: industrial and production units, warehouse complexes, office buildings, sports facilities, parking garages for all means of transport, hangars, etc. There are the following basic technologies of quick-mounting construction: 1. Pre-engineered buildings based on metalwork (MW). 2. Pre-engineered buildings based on light gauge steel framing (LGSF). 3. Block-modules and modular buildings on their basis. In the framework of this research the market of the first two groups of buildings are analyzed. Technology of the pre-engineered buildings based on metalwork is widely spread in non-residential housing construction in such segments as: - industrial and production units - warehouse complexes - office buildings - sports facilities - parking garages for all means of transport, hangars, etc. The most frequent structural concept in constructing metal buildings is the use of built-up beams of uniform and variable in supporting iron, and also this-sheet profiled metal (corrugated beams, cold-bent galvanized sections, etc) in the system of balks and fences.
